We had freezing rain and a little snow yesterday, killing off the last blooms I had in the garden. My annual geranium has finally perished.

I am already well on my way to getting the holiday decorations up, urns have evergreen inserts for the winter (although the annuals in the previous inserts were still growing and blooming), and a rope of greenery has been hung on the balcony and post. Hoping to get the lights outside this weekend. I will post pictures when I complete the job.

Indoors is shaping up as well, an unexpected day off allowed me to pull out the decorations, I may also include some pictures of things I have made for the holidays, but like my gardens they have a certain amateur charm about them.
